Job Description
We are currently seeking passionate and skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our growing team as sub-contractors. You will play a vital role in delivering PBS interventions that promote positive behaviours and improve the quality of life for individuals we support.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualised PBS plans tailored to the needs of each person.
Implement and evaluate behaviour support strategies, ensuring they are carried out with care, empathy, and respect.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote positive behavioural change.
Provide training and support to families and staff in implementing PBS strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes.
Offer guidance and support to those struggling with challenging behaviours, always with a foundation of kindness and love.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
A background in Positive Behaviour Support, psychology, social work, or a related field.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or challenging behaviours.
A strong commitment to promoting positive, person-centred care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and engage with individuals, families, and teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals.
Requirement: Must have Practitioner Identification Number provided by NDIS commission
