Our Client DREAMEDIA EVENTS PTY LIMITED - ABN 68 129 658 466– Located in Winnellie NT, 0820 is seeking someone to take the position of Full-time Sound Technician/Audio Technician for between $73,150 - $80,000 a year depending on skill level, INCLUDES Superannuation, Overtime and Penalty Rates also available.

We have delivered thousands of events throughout the NT from very remote locations to events in every major venue. We are specialists at live production and delivering premium events in the NT, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide successful event solutions for all types of events. We are looking for a qualified Sound Technician/ Audio Technician to join our team, the successful candidate should perform:

DUTIES:

• Operates audio equipment to record, enhance, mix and amplify sound in support of television, radio, film or video productions, or stage performances
• Setting up and breaking down audio equipment.
• Running audio equipment and checking that everything is properly connected.
• Testing audio equipment for volume, tone, and clarity.
• Evaluating audio equipment for repair and maintenance.
• Operating mixing consoles and adjusting sounds and volumes when necessary.
• Ensuring customers are happy with the sound quality and the setup of the audio equipment.
• Recommending equipment and software upgrades when necessary.
• Applying and retouching make up during shooting and performance, including special effects make up such as scars and wounds
• Designing and making musical instruments and instrument parts using specially selected materials and techniques similar to those used in cabinetmaking, metal pipe making, silversmithing and wood carving, and tuning and repairing musical instruments
• Selecting and setting up television recording, editing, and mixing equipment, and adjusting and monitoring their operation
• Attend meetings with other staff to go through event requirements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previously work in a similar role is necessary
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• At least 2 years’ work experience in the sector

$73,150.00 Annual
