Job Description
Position: Automation Test Engineer
Salary: $76,233 plus 11.5% superannuation
Hours: 38
Mode: Full time
Location: Suite 108, M Centre, 11 Palmerstone lane, Manuka ACT 2603
Experience required: 1-2 years plus experience in relevant roles.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Perform comprehensive testing across various levels and types, including smoke, exploratory, functional, system, regression, and mobile testing to ensure software quality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with the Serenity Cucumber framework for existing features.
• Enhance and extend automated test cases by leveraging Java programming principles and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber syntax.
• Execute and debug automated test scripts utilizing Selenium WebDriver to identify and report software defects.
• Manage and maintain test automation code effectively using GIT version control for collaboration and history tracking.
• Create and maintain thorough test documentation, encompassing test scenarios, test plans, test data, test cases, and comprehensive test reports.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrum calls, sprint planning sessions, and backlog refinement meetings, contributing to the team's understanding and progress.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach to learning, readily acquiring proficiency in new testing tools and applications as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
