Civil Engineering Draftsperson – Full-time

Salary: $85,000 per annum + superannuation
Employment type: Full-time, 38 hours per week

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to support our expanding project portfolio and contribute to the production of high-quality documentation and drawings in line with relevant standards.



Key responsibilities:

Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans and documentation for construction and development projects
Interpret architectural and engineering plans and convert them into technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Liaise with architects, engineers and other team members to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications
Apply knowledge of the National Construction Code and Victorian building standards to ensure all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements
Assist in modifying and updating existing designs as needed throughout project lifecycle
Conduct site visits and inspections as required to support design accuracy and progress monitoring


Required skills and qualifications:

Minimum of an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in drafting civil engineering designs and plans
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Strong understanding of Australian construction codes and standards, particularly in Victoria
High attention to detail, time management, and collaboration skills
