Civil Engineering Draftsperson – Full-time

Salary: $85,000 per annum + superannuation
Employment type: Full-time, 38 hours per week

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to support our expanding project portfolio and contribute to the production of high-quality documentation and drawings in line with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans and documentation for construction and development projects
-Interpret architectural and engineering plans and convert them into technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
-Liaise with architects, engineers and other team members to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications
-Apply knowledge of the National Construction Code and Victorian building standards to ensure all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements
-Assist in modifying and updating existing designs as needed throughout project lifecycle
-Conduct site visits and inspections as required to support design accuracy and progress monitoring

Required skills and qualifications:
-Minimum of an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
-At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in drafting civil engineering designs and plans
-Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
-Strong understanding of Australian construction codes and standards, particularly in Victoria
-High attention to detail, time management, and collaboration skills
