Job Description
Location: Sydney, NSW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Draftsperson to join our team in an office-based, full-time position. This is not a remote role.
The right candidate will be someone who can manage a wide variety of drafting responsibilities with confidence and efficiency. You’ll be working closely with our internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality documentation across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in Sydney
In-depth knowledge of NCC (BCA), Australian Standards, and relevant council regulations
Strong experience across Residential, Commercial, and Industrial (Class 1–10, Class 2) projects
Full understanding of DA, CC, CDC, OC, and Subdivision processes
Valid drafting license
Own transport – required for site visits and client meetings
Must be available to work Monday to Friday and some Saturdays by appointment
Must be willing to attend site for measurements, inspections, and client meetings
High-level proficiency in preparing accurate and compliant documentation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and colleagues
Must be an Australian Resident
NO Student Visas or Working Holiday Visas
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality DA, CC, CDC, OC, and Subdivision drawing sets
Coordinate with town planners, certifiers, engineers, consultants, and internal teams
Ensure all drawings and documentation align with NCC, council requirements, and project specifications
Attend site meetings for measurements, inspections, and client discussions
Work closely with the Design & Approval Team, Site Supervisor, and Director
Manage revisions, variations, and updates to documentation
Ensure projects stay on schedule and are delivered to a high professional standard
Take full ownership of assigned projects from concept to completion
Important Note:
This role is for a fully experienced Draftsperson.
You will be guided on our internal systems, but no training will be provided for the fundamentals of drafting, building codes, or processes.
We expect you to be fully capable from day one.
