The role:
We are seeking to engage an experienced Stonemason with an understanding of the fabrication of various materials. This role is responsible for all aspects of stone fabrication including but not limited to gluing, polishing, lifting, modifying, cutting, shaping and repairing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Expertly cutting, shaping, and polishing stones using both advanced machinery and hand tools, ensuring precise fitting even in irregular configurations.
• Operating polishing machines to deliver superior finishes on stone surfaces.
• Installing stone and marble with meticulous attention to detail, strictly adhering to design specifications.
• Reading, and interpreting blueprints and plans to determine necessary materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
• Restoring damaged marble by expertly repairing cracks and chips, thereby maintaining the original aesthetic integrity of the surface.
• Utilizing advanced gluing techniques to secure installations, ensuring durability and safety.
• Building walls using stone slabs and large masonry blocks, ensuring both structural integrity and visual appeal.
• Performing accurate cutting tasks, such as creating holes for taps and basins, as well as cutouts for countertops, cooktops and laundry sinks.
• Using trowels and related tools to apply advanced finishing methods to achieve high-quality appearances.
• Carefully cleaning stone surfaces by removing excess mortar with sponges and brushes to produce a neat, polished finish.
• Reviewing project documentation and finalizing tasks to ensure successful project completion within established parameters.
Skills and Experience:
• Qualified stonemason or proven industry experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a full-fledged stonemason
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Know how to determine the equipment and material needed for the project
• Knowledge in operating construction tools and equipment
• Be reliable with an excellent work ethic and a CAN-DO attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and care of workmanship in any given task
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
