Job Description
Main Responsibilities of the role are-
• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs using the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Act as a positive role model, promoting respectful behaviour and language.
• Maintain up-to-date developmental records and assessments for each child.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all children.
• Foster open, respectful, and responsive communication with children, acknowledging their unique perspectives.
• Build strong relationships with families, encouraging their engagement in the program and decision-making.
• Provide vigilant supervision and ensure children's wellbeing at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality and ensure consistency across the service.
• Support and mentor educators to deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Participate in professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve teaching strategies.
• Uphold compliance with the National Quality Standards, regulations, and child protection legislation.
• Promote inclusive practices, supporting children from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Must Have –
• Must have Bachelor’s or Higher in relevant field
• Must have at least 1 years of Australian experience in a Child Care Centre as an Early Childhood Teacher
• Must have valid registration
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
Skills Needed –
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and families.
• Emotional intelligence and patience to respond to children’s needs calmly and empathetically.
• Excellent creativity and flexibility to design engaging activities for children
• Work efficiently in team environment.
Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of A$85,000 to A$95,000 Plus Superannuation.
