The Role – Motor Mechanic (General)
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Motor Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicles. The position offers a supportive working environment, access to modern diagnostic tools, and opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics using advanced tools.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, cooling systems, fuel systems, and electrical components.
• Execute logbook services and routine tasks (oil changes, filters, tire rotation, etc.).
• Maintain service records and manage workshop documentation accurately.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex faults with minimal supervision.
• Uphold safety and environmental standards in all mechanical tasks.
• Assist junior mechanics and contribute to team development where required.
About You
• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or higher.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a workshop environment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair petrol and diesel vehicles.
• Proficient with a range of mechanical systems including engines, electricals, brakes, suspension, and drivetrains.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
