Full-Time Chef Required Hey Gringo Bao Project (Located in 201/209 High St, Prahran VIC 3181) is currently seeking qualified Full Time Chef to join our friendly team. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Chef who is committed to exceeding our customers' expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team. The eligible candidates will be performing the following duties:· Prepare all dishes to our high standard consistently. Controlling and directing food preparation process and any other kitchen related duties. Plan menu with the head chef. Monitor and record of inventory and if necessary, order supplies. Ensure OH&S and food hygiene requirements are met. Work unsupervised and in a team while maintaining a secure and friendly working environment. Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ordering and stock control.To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following: Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service· 2 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment· Qualifications in commercial cookery- Cert IV or higher· Flexible availability· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills· Effective communication skills· Overall knowledge of operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets Salary: $73,000 - $75,000 plus super or higher depending on experience.
