Duties & Responsibilities:
• Determine appropriate product mix, stock levels, and service standards in line with customer demand and company goals.
• Formulate and implement purchasing strategies, pricing policies, and marketing plans to drive sales and profitability.
• Oversee in-store promotions and advertising efforts to enhance product visibility and attract customers.
• Direct customer service activities, including selling products, advising customers on product use, and resolving complaints or queries.
• Monitor inventory levels, place timely orders, and maintain accurate records of stock and financial transactions.
• Develop and manage store budgets, ensuring efficient cost control and financial performance.
• Lead the recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of store staff to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure all workplace operations comply with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to enhance retail strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
• Report directly to senior management with insights on store operations, sales performance, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide teams effectively.
• Robust organizational and analytical abilities to oversee inventory, budgets, and sales performance.
• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma level studies
• Minimum one year’s full-time experience in managing retail operations, preferably within the food or supermarket sector.
